Project overview
A rendered two-storey home on a 700m² block at Ryde, with the massing squared up to the street and the garage absorbed into the ground floor rather than pushed out in front of it.
Six bedrooms and five bathrooms inside 334m² is a lot of room count for the footprint, and the plan carries it without the elevation looking crowded. A low slatted fence and planting hold the boundary, and a full-height timber door breaks the render at the threshold.
The build
Two dwellings, one elevation
A duplex pair at Ryde drawn as a single composition, so the street sees one building rather than two half-houses.

On site
Held down by the fence and the planting
A low slatted fence, dracaena and a single render tone keep the frontage quiet.
